About TrailSkills
Trailskills was born out of a passion for sharing mountain bike experiences with others and an appreciation of the benefits that skills coaching can bring. Based in Dumfries and Galloway we offer mtb activities across the South of Scotland, including all of the 7 stanes as well as the spectacular natural riding that’s available.
We offer a range of skills coaching options from group courses, to custom sessions. Coaching is available for all levels from beginner, through to advanced with options for day courses or shorter focused workshops for autumn/winter conditions. Guided rides and family experiences are also available and we offer kids sessions in the school holidays too. Across all of our activities the emphasis is on our riders getting the most out of their MTB experience.
We also offer coaching and guiding options for e-bike riders. If you are new to ebikes there are some differences in technique that will help get the most from your new bike, or you may want to explore further afield making the most of your battery power.
Coach/Guide/Owner – Liz Peacock
I raced at regional, national and international level - competed in the world cup cross country in Fort William, Enduro World Series in Peebles, won Scottish and British national series titles. I have discovered that sharing my knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for the sport gives me a bigger buzz than racing ever did. Since setting up Trailskills, I have confirmed that having adventures, riding new trails, exploring new places with fellow mountain bikers and helping riders improve their skills and gain confidence makes me happy.
